There has been considerable housing provided in Moreton over the last few years and there is another development being built at present on the A429. All of which has or will increase the traffic congestion in this area. In the Summer it is frequently grid locked at Stow now. These developments have also had an impact on local services in the area, such as schools, GPs, dentists, hospitals etc. all of which are now at capacity.

There is also great concern about the development causing more problems with both sewerage and drainage in the village. Broad well was badly flooded in 2007 and has on occasion had similar problems since. Thames Water sewage plant is at capacity and this new development would most certainly overload the current sewage system as Thames Water already frequently discharges sewage into the Evenlode water course during heavy periods of rain, causing sewage flooding to houses and gardens in the village. There is constant flooding at the bottom of Broadway Hill and this development site surface run off would greatly increase this flooding. There are plans being progressed to help prevent flooding but these are for the current run off.

I oppose the plan that has been set out although affordable housing must be provided. Smaller sites nearer the town centre could be used i.e. around the old Telephone Exchange for example. The area chosen is on AONB and should never be built on. The area is good agricultural land & should remain so. Traffic chaos already occurs around the top of Berewell lane and another one will make things worse. Building were to take place on the proposed site off that lane.

Dear Ed,
Many thanks for your card and Christmas greetings.

I enjoyed your story about Gerry Gefvert. I had completely lost touch of him - didn't know he taught at St. Joseph.

In the summer I went with Danny Palmieri '70 and Jeanne Biancamano '70, to the Matthew house (Joe Casamento '70. The were an M.D.'s in Brooklyn), he fell down

Think not so much of what thou hast not as what thou hast: but of the things which thou hast select the best, and reflect how eagerly they would have been sought if thou hadst them not. At the same time however take care that thou dost not through being to pleased with them accustom thyself to overvalue them, so as to be disturbed if ever thou shouldst not have them.

Stow-on-the-Wold is an ancient and historic town in the
COTSWOLDS - A small Market Town for locals and tourists to
en-_ _ \\_.

Blood Home has no relevance in Stow. They are small, outdated
retail shops/places. They hold expensive items that
do not
appeal to Sacre\\_tones. AirB&B and facilits per house.
(Like the warehouse in Cambridge)

There are already plenty of empty spaces for a community hall
near the center of Stow.
It would be a huge \\_sery for Stow Square! It will ruin the
local economy - A But 'side it' stops us real tourists -
people using Stows from the surrounding villages would go
elsewhere.

A \Country Park\" in a rual area on a slope & slippery road in
the Cotswold District Council needs some _ _ \\_. There are good footpaths
etc that people could walk around.

In the 10+ years we're Stow\\_nia as Stow's already
a traffic bottleneck. The small population here loses
_C_ _ _ H that would b_ _ \\_ally increase traffic and keep
Stow-on-the-Wold as ancient
